ALFA Partners With USAgainstAlzheimer’s to Urge More Research Funding

Alzheimer’s disease is a national crisis: Every 67 seconds, someone in the United States is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. There’s no cure – Alzheimer’s is always fatal. 5.3 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s or dementia, and the number of individuals and costs of treatment are only expected to increase.

The only way we’ll end Alzheimer’s is by fully funding research for a cure. Congress is considering Alzheimer’s funding right now, but they won’t act unless we all speak up and demand it.

The Assisted Living Federation of America is partnering with USAgainstAlzheimer’s to urge Congress to increase funding for Alzheimer’s research. Here are some steps you can take to help members of your community make their voices heard:
