Columbine Community Village Presentation: Staying in Our Own Homes as We Grow Older

March 10, 2012 - Saturday, 2:00PM

Location: Columbine Library

Address: 7706 W. Bowles Avenue, Littleton, CO 80123

Are you 55 or older, living in your own home, and planning to stay put? Older adults can stay in their homes longer and live more independently by joining a Village. Columbine Community Village is being formed in South Jefferson County. This nonprofit Village will be supported by dues, contributions, and grants. Members may call for a volunteer to get a ride to the grocery store or doctor’s office; fix a leaky faucet; or climb a ladder to change a light bulb. Villages arrange social and educational events, strengthening community. Columbine area residents are invited to a public information meeting on Saturday March 10, 2:00 pm, at Columbine

Library. RSVP via email below or call Arnie Snyder at 303-730-6432.
